1. Who You're Contracting With

These terms govern your purchase and use of The Wayfarer's Remedy Book (the "Product"), a digital ebook sold by Clay Mercey ("we", "us", "our"). By purchasing, downloading, or using the Product, you agree to these terms.

2. Acceptance

By completing checkout or accessing the Product, you confirm you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not purchase or use the Product.

3. The Product

The Product is a digital PDF ebook containing wellness recipes and information for general educational purposes. It is not medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before using any remedy, herb, or recipe described, especially if you are pregnant, nursing, taking medication, or have a medical condition.

4. License & Use

You receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to download and use the Product for your own personal use. You may not resell, redistribute, share, sublicense, publicly display, or upload the Product to any third-party site or system.

5. Intellectual Property

All content within the Product — including text, recipes, illustrations, photography, and branding — is owned by Clay Mercey and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Product for any unlawful purpose;
• Copy, redistribute, or resell the Product;
• Attempt to bypass purchase, access controls, or DRM;
• Use the Product to defraud, spam, or harm others;
• Probe, scan, or interfere with the security of our website.

7. Payments, Billing & Refunds

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Stripe, who acts as the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Stripe handles payment processing, tax calculation and remittance, billing inquiries, and refund processing on our behalf. For refund details, see our Refund Policy.

8. No Medical Advice; No Warranties

The Product is provided "as is" for informational and educational purposes only. We make no warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or that the Product is error-free or suitable for any specific health condition. You use the recipes and information at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Clay Mercey shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the Product, including any adverse reaction to ingredients or remedies. Total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Product.

10. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Product for material breach of these terms, fraud, chargebacks made in bad faith, or repeated policy violations.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Clay Mercey resides, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

12. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Product after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
